Onion and Broccoli Planting Time

The onion folks sent me WAY too many onions this year. They normally include extras to replace the spindly plants, but this year they doubled my order of 240 plants. What was to be no garden this year is turning out to be bigger than ever. 453 onion plants went in, 28 broccoli plants, and another 40 broccoli plants are waiting in the wings. Spinach, kale, peas and parsley seeds were planted too. So much for not much of a garden!
